Well, off to a crappy start of the year. I had my appendix removed after suffering for a couple of days thinking it was probably nothing until it was just too painful and odd… That lead to me having to stay 7 days in the hospital doing some hardcore IV antibiotics and basically just recovering. Overall it was really just boring and sad… Hospitals really creep me out. Some cute nurses though.

Anyway, sorry for the post delay but I’ve been home for almost a week now and I guess I’m practically cured, so I might as well post something.

I crossed my fingers as I did a quick search for “Appendix T-Shirt” but curiously I was already oddly assured that I was going to find something that would be in context with this post. And of course the Internet didn’t disappoint:

Well, hello world! T-Shirt Buyer is a blog about the best piece of clothing ever invented. Pieces that shine not only because of their usefulness but also because of their power to transmit thoughts, drive movements, protests, make us think, and perhaps most importantly, laugh.

For those of us that are t-shirt buyers, a cool t-shirt is almost like an extension of our own personality, our moods, our likes and dislikes. It transmits a little piece of ourselves onto the world.

My name is Luís, I’m 28 years old, and I’ve been collecting and wearing T-Shirts for as long as I remember. Despite that, my collection never seems to grow too much because I’m a firm believer that t-shirts were meant to be worn and eventually worn out. My t-shirts can be found on my drawers or on myself. I don’t hang them on walls and I don’t keep them inside plastic bags. I say wear them until they’re gone.

On this blog I’ll post anything and everything I feel that can be enjoyed by other t-shirt lovers like myself, and I believe we are a lot. I hope to eventually get feedback from you, the community.
